October 2019
Since September 4, 2019, I have been off of my chemo
drugs. My blood is continually getting lower so I will now be off of my chemo
drugs until the end of November. I will then check my blood again and have an
MRI. It feels awkward being off of my chemo drugs for so long. Three months is
a long time to be off. At the end of November I will find out where I am at. I
felt a little off for three days at the end of October but feel much better
now.
My dear little loved ones - Molly & Finn.
We went out for dinner to celebrate mom's 88th birthday.
Bev and I organized mom's 88th birthday party.
Mom's sisters...
... and sister-in-laws attended the party. We had fun!
When the party was over mom rested.
My husband and I took Michele out for her birthday breakfast.
I went out for breakfast with Mark and Ross
- two people I worked with in the ISD.
My sister-in-law Anne, my sister Bev, and I
went to the Elton John's concert. It was fabulous!
My husband and I went to the U of M to have lunch with
my sister Bev and her child Ari. Ari is in her second year of law school.
My niece Stephanie went to see her grandmother (my mom)
to show her where she is at by now with her pregnancy.
My friends from The Meeting Place and I went to Siloam Mission
to prepare lunch for close to 400 people.
It always is fun playing with Finn.
My friend Colleen and I went to watch the Jets Hockey game.
The Jets lost this game but we had lots of fun.
My friend Carol and I went out for breakfast.
We both played basketball at the U of M.
My grandson Finn turned three years old.
We had a fun party.
My beautiful niece Molly is always fun to be with.
Looking forward to Convocation!
