March 2019
I am thrilled that my liquid drugs have worked out
very well this month. I took two weeks of liquid drugs, then was off for one
week, then went straight back to another two weeks of liquid drugs. My blood tests
clearly showed good results. On Monday, March 25, I had an MRI at the Health
Science Centre. I then met with Dr. Pitz on Friday, March 29. I was told that
my tumour has not changed. So far so good!
My sister Bev came with us on this holiday.
What a beautiful beach!
My sister, my husband, and I spent a lot of time
in the shade.
It was fun going out to eat every day.
We could see the ocean from our hotel room.
Had dinner with Kevin & Molly - our friends
from the US living in Cabarete.
Bev swimming in a pool.
Had dinner with Willy & Sandy
- our friends from Winnipeg.
A wonderful school in Cabarete that a
school in the ISD has supported.
This is a beautiful Grade 9 girl who I have
supported since kindergarten.
Bev and I went on walks along the beach
every day.
After my afternoon nap it always was fun
joining my husband and my sister on the beach.
When we got home from the Dominican, it was
fun seeing my grandchildren.
It also was wonderful seeing my mom and dad. Dad
often comes home from the hospital once a week to
spend time with mom and the family.
We had a party on Bill's 90th birthday!
What an amazing father-in-law!
I had lunch with a group of ISD teaching staff
in Hutterite Colony schools. It was wonderful
having lunch with them on the weekend.
Had a lovely time together with my friends
who pray for each other continually.
