Recovering After Surgery

My second brain surgery took place Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Health Sciences Centre. I only spent two nights in the hospital but struggled with a few health issues on my third day at home. I tried doing a few light workouts downstairs (aerobics and weights) but I didn’t feel great. Instead, I went for a walk outside on a daily basis. In addition to walking and having naps every day, I enjoyed many breakfast and lunch dates with family members and friends. I also spent much time going over to see my mom and dad. I am so amazed that they are doing so well. One particular area of interest this month was receiving Winnipeg Jets hockey tickets. The Jets won every game I attended which brought about lots of cheering and laughter. I was grateful for five weeks of recovery, and started a new schedule of drugs on Friday, May 4.

I went to play in a playground with my grandson Finn.

Went out for lunch with my family - me, Bev, Ari, and mom!
